As a Lead Product Designer at Keka, you will

  • Own the vision and strategy of multiple products within the Keka ecosystem and contribute directly to the roadmap planning
  • Get hands-on and design for complex problems, better than anyone in the industry
  • Gather and understand data to define design strategies and drive best practices within the team. Be thorough with your work and convince team on design decisions.
  • Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams including Product, Engineering, Marketing and various Business teams to deliver delightful customer experiences.
  • Strategize, develop, and extend the Keka Design System and Design Patterns by coming up with new and innovative solutions
  • Actively take part in hiring the best talent required for the team
  • Effectively mentor and inspire a team of designers. Help the team in raising the bar, resolving blockers, prioritising and breaking down complex projects into simpler tasks to ensure high speed and quality


What we are looking for

  • At least 6 years of experience in product design roles with product orgs
  • Experience owning the end-to-end design for a product and building for 0-1
  • Worked in and enjoys fast paced start-up environment. Can take decisions fast.
  • An outstanding portfolio showcasing in-depth knowledge in user experience, interaction, and visual/user interface design
  • Understands the business and how design can contribute to it
  • Can ask the right questions and understand the user problems in depth. Has the ability to think like a user and form hypothesis based on situation
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience in leading/mentoring a team of designers would be a plus
  • A good understanding of Frontend principles to guide the team from an engineering point of view
